More about me -

I grew up around some hilarious rescue dogs from age 2 and have been obsessed with dogs ever since. After working in Marketing my passion for animals led me to become a veterinary nurse. I worked in practice for 7 years, eventually becoming Head Veterinary Nurse at Goring Vets. I have developed a deep understanding and passion for animal health and wellbeing. My journey in animal care has seen me provide professional support in veterinary clinics, assisting with everything from nurse consults to emergency triage and anaesthesia.

This hands-on experience has equipped me with invaluable skills in animal handling, medical care, and client communication. I loved problem solving in nurse consults, advising owners on everything from diet to training.

For the past three years, I have been managing a thriving family dog care business, where I was committed to creating a safe, enriching, and comfortable environment for every canine guest. My role involved overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of hygiene, and providing personalised care tailored to meet each dog’s needs. I am passionate about supporting pet owners and offering peace of mind while their beloved companions were in our care.

Whilst being an assistant at EDF I am studying with COAPE to become a dog trainer and learning everything I can from the trainers there.

At home, I share my life with a regal little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, whose affectionate nature inspires my work every day. In my spare time, you’ll often find us exploring some of the UK’s most beautiful spots—especially the Lake District and the beach, which are among our favourite destinations for adventure and relaxation.

In addition to my work with dogs, I also offer cat drop-in visits, drawing on my veterinary experience and professional contacts to ensure felines receive attentive and expert care when their families are away.
