CONCEPT GAMES
TRAINING
Introduction to
Games-Based Training:
Concept and games-based training is a truly effective way of training your dog because it focuses on reshaping how they think, helping them handle real-life situations with confidence.
Rather than simply teaching specific behaviours, this approach builds essential life skills like calmness, focus, optimism and self-control. It’s all done through simple, accessible games that anyone can play, making training feel less like a task and more like something you and your dog genuinely enjoy together.

How It Helps & Why It Works:
Maybe your dog struggles with loose lead walking and you’d love them to choose to stay closer to you. Perhaps they find it difficult to relax when visitors come over, or they’re easily distracted when you’re out and about. These are all common challenges and all things that can be improved through the right games.
Dogs become more of what they practise every day. With games-based training, you can gently transform those everyday struggles into strengths, while building a stronger, more positive relationship with your dog at the same time.
This method makes training flexible, fun and easy to fit into daily life, so it never feels like a chore. It also encourages the whole family to get involved, creating consistency for your dog and better results all round. Most importantly, it’s a kind, holistic approach that delivers lasting change.
Once you start training through games, you’ll never feel stuck again because there’s always a game to help.
