EXEMPT & RESTRICTED BREEDS POLICY

At Ewelme Dog Field, we aim to provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for all dogs and their owners. We understand that some dogs fall under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 and, when responsibly owned and legally exempt, they are welcome to use our field under the conditions outlined below.
Exempt Dogs
Dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act (including XL bully-type dogs) may use our dog field only if they are legally exempt.
To use the field, owners must provide proof of:
- A valid certificate of exemption
- Third-Party public liability insurance that specifically covers the dog
- The dog being neutered (where legally required)
- The dog being microchipped
Proof must be provided before your first booking. We reserve the right to refuse access or ask you to leave if documentation is not supplied or is no longer valid.
Field Rules for Exempt Dogs -
- Exempt dogs must be booked for private sessions only.
- If you park outside the field, dogs must arrive and leave the site on a lead and securely muzzled, in line with legal requirements.
- Owners a fully responsible for their dogs behaviour at all times.
- Any damage to fencing, equipment or land must be reported immediately.
Our fields our fully enclosed and designed to provide a controlled environment but this does not remove the owners legal responsibilities.
Owner responsibility & Liability -
By booking our field, you confirm that:
- Your dog is legally exempt and compliant with all current UK legislation.
- You hold valid insurance for your dog.
- You accept full responsibility for your dog's actions during your visit.
Ewelme Dog Field accepts no liability for incidents involving exempt or non-exempt dogs.

Documentation is stored securely and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Files are retained only for as long as necessary to maintain compliance.
