Our Life Skills Basics course is a six-week foundation programme designed to help you and your dog build essential, real-world skills. Using positive reinforcement and expert guidance, we focus on clear communication, everyday manners, and creating a strong partnership that lasts beyond the course.

Cancellation Policy
EDF Training Academy – Customer Booking Terms & Conditions These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made with EDF Training Academy at Ewelme Dog Field. By booking a course, you agree to the following: 1. Booking Confirmation Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received in full or a deposit has been accepted where applicable. All bookings are subject to availability. 2. Course Changes EDF Training Academy reserves the right to change the trainer allocated to any course at any time. In the event of a trainer change, EDF will provide a replacement trainer of equal or higher qualifications to ensure the same standards of training are maintained. EDF reserves the right to make minor changes to course dates, times, or locations if necessary, and will notify participants as soon as possible. 3. Cancellation by Customer Customers must provide at least 14 days’ notice of cancellation to receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the start of the course are non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed at EDF’s discretion. Refunds will be processed within [X days] of receiving the cancellation notice. 4. Cancellation by EDF EDF may cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, illness, or insufficient bookings). In the event of cancellation by EDF, customers will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule to another course. 5. Participant Responsibilities Customers must ensure their dog(s) are fit, healthy, and up-to-date with vaccinations before attending courses. Dogs must be under control at all times, including being on a lead when required. Customers are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs and maintaining the cleanliness of the training area. Any injuries caused by the dog to another dog, participant, or trainer are the responsibility of the dog’s owner. 6. Health & Safety Participants accept that training involves physical activity, and dogs may react unpredictably. EDF and its trainers take all reasonable precautions to ensure safety, but participants attend at their own risk. Any injuries or incidents must be reported to EDF staff immediately. 7. Photography & Media EDF may take photos or videos during courses for promotional purposes. If you do not wish your image or your dog’s image to be used, please inform EDF in writing before the course begins. 8. Liability EDF and its trainers accept no liability for injury, loss, or damage to participants, dogs, or property.
